My name is Izzy West, I am thirteen years old and I love horses and writing.
My blog is all about horses, writing, and stories of my life.A little bit about me:
My favorite breed of horse is the Quarter Horse. I love the color bay, palomino, sorrel, and chestnut.My favorite "rainbow" color is blue, or turquoise.
I love Susan K. Marlow's books, and the movie Secretariat.
I am fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cancer of the lymphatic system) right now, just finishing my in-patient Round 2 of chemotherapy. I just lost all my hair, and my relationship with Jesus Christ is growing everyday with this journey. I will post updates about my life of cancer on this blog as well. And, I am open to questions, if they are polite. I might not answer all of the questions, but I will try my best.
I will also answer questions about horses and writing. I have a special character named Katelyn Reed. Most likely you'll be hearing a lot about her in the stories I write and share.
On this blog I will share my fictional writings, my journey with HL, and some stories of my life with my family. I have two sisters named Myla and Nikki, they are eight and ten. They are hilarious and I love them so much. They share stories with me that hopefully are a crack-up when I share them.
Wow, Izzy! This is an amazing blog! I'll be looking forward to each post :-). You are so loved, my dear sister-in-Christ, and shall be thought of and prayed for often in the coming days.

I saw your story and I will pray for you! You have a beautiful smile! I think we have a lot in common, because I love reading, writing, and horses too! I am thirteen also, and my family and I are Christians! Maybe we can be pen pals by email? I could give you my email if you want. What kind of books do you like to read and write? DeleteI am Alivia's mom and we wanted to let you know that we will be praying for you. We are so sorry to hear of this trial and pray that you will be healed soon. As an answer to Alivia's previous comment, I love to read horses books and Christian books of really any kind. I love to read historical fiction. I write horse books mostly. I don't think one of my started or finished books are without horses, lol
